I spend way to much time checking my face in the mirror.

Basically, I am on a mission. I am going to lose weight. Shut up! I don't want to hear it! All of you people who think it is a stupid endeavor because you think I don't need to lose weight. Well here's the latest news, its my body and I would feel better if I lost weight so don't worry about it.
I went running, but the next day my back hurt so bad (I have a bad back) I don't think I can go running. So what else, biking? Hiking? Soccering? Anything that ends in -ing must have some sort of fitness application, other than eating...
I don't know what it will be but I am going on a diet starting in the morning and fitness schedule so that by the time I go see Daniel graduate I will look really good. And I will feel really good. Maybe I will even go tanning and do something with my hair.
Well...I don't want to push it.

I swear by biking...it's still great cadio for your heart and will increase your metabolism to burn more calories, hence the reason i've lost almost 60 pounds....lol...and walking!! never underestimate a good walk...even if it's just for 20 minutes, you'll get at least a mile done in 20 minutes...

I check my face addictively in the mirror as well...I just discovered this week that along with having defined cheekbones; i've got a defined chin...yes...a defined chin...i really can't think of any other way to describe it...all i know is that 10 months ago it wasn't there, heck...2 months ago it wasn't there...but now it is...and guess who likes it? I do...

I TOTALLY get that!! Just because other people think you're fine, doens't mean you're happy with yourself!!

I can't run either - but know what I do?! Pilates - I SWEAR by it!! Not really ... I don't really swear, but I think you get it.

I have a video thing that does it in 10 minutes segments: abs, buns & thighs, burn (full body) flexibility (good for a cool down), and sculpting.

I do about 30 minutes (3 sections) 3 times a week and it's AMAZING!! You can see results in as little as 2 weeks (some people, even less) and it's SOOO good on your back!! In fact, people with back problems are usually told, by their doctors, to do pilates.

You can't beat it. It's fantastic and you get GREAT results!! So My vote is: Pilates...ing.

:-D

I don't think you are fat, but I know what you mean about losing weight!! I have been trying to lately as well and with terrible results... I am almost 130 lbs now! But I am better toned and I feel better about myself because of the elliptical machine and stretching. On the former I do 30 minutes at the highest most consistent rate I can go and then I stretch hard core for at least 15 minutes (3 sets of 30 sec. in each hold Lisa told me)-so those are what I recommend.

Otherwise swinging my katana around has done wonders too... =P
